We are looking for a Human Resources professional with five or more years of experience in the field.
The right individual will assume ownership of the department and plan for its growth.
A less experienced candidate would be placed in a role managing benefit administration and/or payroll.
Whether educated traditionally, or by life, we want a professional with experience in a manufacturing environment with an organization of 100 or more.
Must be knowledgable of FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA, Title VII and state and local employment laws.
We have a multi-cultural environment.
Someone bilingual in Spanish/English would be preferable.
Experience with Paycor is a plus.

Overview:
The human resources position will be responsible for administrative and strategic hiring duties.
They will recruit, onboard, and guide new employees through the benefits and compensation process while complying with all local, state, and federal regulations for HR, and enforcing company policies and practices.
HR will maintain a continuous recruitment program to expose the company to best candidates.
HR will be responsible for updating all organizational governing documents to reflect goal and strategies of management and leadership.
Hold all personnel accountable to company values.
HR will be the chief organizer of all employee documentation and information.
HR will be responsible for performing all company hires and terminations.
Covers all legal compliance for human resource federal and state requirements.
Answers employee questions and addresses employee concerns with the company; including employee safety, welfare, wellness and health.
Responsibilities Employee Onboarding Clock schedule management Attendance Policy and daily tracking Daily time clock reporting Clear Discipline hierarchy and documentation Door schedule/ access management Company employment rightsizing Working with plant manager to determine labor cost Posting announcements and work schedule changes Codifying team schedules and coordinating with clocks Managing employee pay scale Managing pay raises and negotiations Managing position promotion prerequisites Managing Training Matrix Continuous recruitment and talent search Facilitating interview process with dept heads and managers Managing badge access of active and inactive employees Actively managing current organizational schematics (org chart, job descriptions, decision making rights) Visual mobility to all employees Controls Policy Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems Provide counseling on policies and procedures Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process Create and implement effective onboarding plans Develop training and development programs Assist in performance management processes Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.
) according to policy and legal requirements Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
Provides support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
